APPLETON, WI – For Marcel Campbell, yesterday seemed like it was going to be just like any other day, but that was not so. Campbell logged into his Facebook account, only to find that he had 1 less friend than the day before.
“I am completely devastated. I don’t know what to do anymore. I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, it’s taking everything I’ve got to just do this interview. I don’t know who it was since Facebook doesn’t let you track it, but I’m sure it was someone important.”
Campbell says he thinks that he was unfriended because he accidentally gave a hint that he might have an opinion on something.
“I usually post basic bullshit that everyone likes and won’t offend anyone, like inspirational quotes and memes about how we should all get along. But yesterday I made the mistake of commenting something about politics, never again. Never will I voice my actual opinions because look what can happen. Now, leave me be to my sorrows”.
